Ranunculus Aquatilis (Oxygenating Aquatic)

Ranunculus aquatilis is an excellent submerged oxygenator, thriving in still or flowing water. The submerged foliage is thread-like, while foliage at the water’s surface is attractively lobed or palmate. From early summer, Common Water Crowfoot bears white buttercup flowers that make a pretty display floating on the surface of the water. This British native is a useful perennial for oxygenating ponds, lakes and streams. Height: 5cm (2″). Spread: 100cm (39″). Planting depth: Zones 1, 2 and 3 to 30cm (12″) below water level.
