Oxalis Triangularis ‘Vulcan Pink’

This rare variety is a truly exquisite foliage house plant – featuring fluttering leaflets splashed with neon pink against an olive-green ground. Oxalis triangularis ‘Vulcan Pink’ has been selected primarily for its stunning foliage, although it does also have the benefit of trumpet-shaped yellow blooms in spring and summer. An additional novelty of Oxalis triangularis is that its leaves are highly responsive to variations in light levels: at night, or in harsh sunlight, they fold down like the wings of a butterfly! Oxalis ‘Vulcan Pink’ makes an exquisite a specimen plant for a cool windowsill with indirect light either indoors or in a cool conservatory. Height and spread: 10-20cm (4-8in).
